I'm having trouble with the above topics, I've got a basic ATL and MFC project, creating a single COM object that I'm going to use to blat simple messages to a server using the CAsyncSocket class. It all seems to 'nearly' work, however there it seems to be having trouble shutting down. Somewhere between the object being told to start its shutdown code and shutting down the object the handles to the socket I'm using is either being lost or corrupted. As I've little experience in this I'm assuming that I'm doing something wrong, has anyone else found similar troubles?
