About zez

We Want You

We are always looking for good and talented people who want to write articles.

You don't have to write long and very complicated articles. If it is valuable to the community your article could be just a few paragraphs.

The only standard we set is that any code must be provided with the article, and that the code is executable and adequately explains the concept of the article.

We also like adding images, if you have any which we are allowed to publish, and links to other sources and background material.

What should I write?

If what you write could easily be found on a documentation site, we'd rather you submitted the link to our link database. Therefore, try to write something novel, or something which explains concepts which are hard to get.

All those limitations aside, don't hesitate to ask us before scrapping your project. We will help you develop your story to a point where it is publishable, after all, we really want your contribution!

Try looking through our article, forum and link categories to see areas of interest to us. If you don't find what you're interesting of providing, perhaps you should ask us if this isn't the time to provide that area.

Try also to look at our name zez.org: about code, try keeping your submissions within this.

How do I get an idea?

Good ideas are relatively easy to find. If you've had a problem in your day to day programming work, and you've found a good solution, then there is an article in describing how you arrived at your solution.

You've might be part of a mailing list, news group or other community, perhaps someone there has asked questions which you find easy to answer. An article covering the solution might be an good idea.

Finally, if you feel that you can finish an idea or article, you could write and ask us if we have anything which we would love to 1 with you.

When do I get published?

After we've proof-read your article, we will publish it as soon as possible (within a week, or two, depending on time of year). We also have a conscious effort of marketing published articles by notifying news-sites and portals about them.

All our contributors will receive an e-mail alias at zez.org (if they wish).
