Once again: Welcome to zez.org!
|
We're very pleased with your participation at zez.org. This site went live just a few days ago, and already a lot of people have registered as users, still more have read many of our articles.
Who are we?
The people here are mainly employees of eZ systems, but we're hoping that you will help change this. Everyone at eZ systems has a college education, or better, and are well versed programmers with a keen interest in programming.
We are firmly based on object oriented principles and round trip engineering. In other words, we care about documentation, which our projects like eZ publish (running this site) and eZ trade (running sourceprovider.com) prove. We want to instill the same spirit in your work.
Why another programming site?
We believe that we have something extra to offer the community, our knowledge of OO-methods, documentation and project management.
We also aim to provide articles with a firmer grounding in these principles, as well as aiming for a more experienced programmer than the run-of-the-mill site.
Our articles aim higher, they take a while to write and smooth out. We will try to update the site at least a couple of times each week, but don't be surprised if you find new content here even more often; we do have a back log to pull from.
We want you!
Now you know a bit more about us and our goals. If you feel that you have something to offer the community please don't hesitate in sending your submissions to us at submissions@ez.no
Things to check out
Hidden in the forums we have an FAQ and a change log.
Of course you should read our articles and participate in the discussions.
Best regards,
Paul K Egell-Johnsen
